I always love decorating for Christmas, once I get into it. I'm a slow starter, though. The boxes are too high. The tree is too heavy.
It's too hot. It's too cold.
Seriously, it usually is too hot -- I live in the south. And that tree is pretty dang heavy.
But once I'm into it, I'm really in-to-it. No surface is safe from my glue gun and glitter. I'd "snow" the dogs if they'd let me.
So, that's why it's December 12th and I'm not completely done yet. But, please do, come on in...

Your holiday decor is beautiful, Lindy! I especially love your snowy nativity and the glittery bird branch!
ReplyDeleteWhile enjoying your home tour, I was trying to pick a favorite -- first it was the bird cage with the hanging ornaments, then it was the amazing beaded garland on the mantle, then it was the lovely birds on the branches of the dressing table. Finally I realized I would not be able to pick a favorite. Everything is breath-taking. Thank you so much for sharing on the Boardwalk Bragfest!

ReplyDeleteLindy, you're house is gorgeous and I just did my decorating this past weekend. I don't think you're behind at all. I cheated though and only did my front room. I see you have a piece of petal glass on your vanity. I have a friend who collects it and am always finding pieces for her. It's lovely. Love your bottle snowmen. Hope the rest of your week is great. Hugs~ Amanda
