I love this monogram. I found it by googling "W monogram pics". It's amazing what google will get you....all you have to do is ask it.
I've added this monogram to the backs of a pair of
arm chairs. I think it was a perfect solution
for the plain-jane chair backs that always looked like they were missing something to me.
Here's how to do it:
- Look for a monogram that will work if cut into a stencil. Print it in several sizes to see what fits your chairs best.
- Tape the print to heavy duty poster board - shiny side up.
- Use an exacto knife to carefully cut out the monogram. I cut on top of an old magazine to protect my counter.
- Center and stencil the monogram using a stencil brush and very little paint so that the paint doesn't seep under the edge of the stencil.
My chairs are wood so I used oil artist paint. I think this might also work on fabric covered chairs if you used acrylic paint, don't you?
