10 Projects in 10 Days

Yeah right!  Sounds good but no way is it going to happen.
You know it.  I know it.  The paint on the wall knows it...

But how about 10 projects in 21 days?  That sounds doable.  And just look at these great finds!  After an awesome bargain hunting Saturday I paid less than $20 for all of them!

I'm giving myself just 3 weeks to finish all of these projects and post about them.
Some are simple.  Others?  Not so much.

*

So who's going first?  The cute little McCoy planter raises its hand...

I love the shape of this planter with its curvy little handle.  The color is perfect, too.  I was over that chip on the front edge as
soon as I saw the price --50 cents!

This was one of the easiest of the projects.
All it needed was a plant and a photo op.

I lined the inside of the planter with a heavy duty zip lock bag cut to fit, filled it with potting soil and tucked in some ivy I rooted in my kitchen window.

One down -- nine to go!

I AM INSPIRED.

  2. Good Luck!! My great grandmother had that exact owl picture. She collected owls and I always thought it was such a weird obsession. They just weren't as cute in the 70's and 80's as they are now;o) Can't wait to see what you come up with:o)

  15. Lindy, It's a good start...I'm excited about this and see your transformations. I am doing the same thing in a way...I call it my Diamonds in the Rough! I find these treasures and transform them then blog about them...however I am not giving myself a deadline, but instead will be doing it all summer during garage sale season. Fun for both of us.

  16. I love that little planter... I have a little pitcher that the handle broke off of...well, see there was this snake in my kitchen... and the little begger crawled up on a shelf and knocked this little pitcher off a shelf and the handle broke. I hated to throw it out... cause, it was an
    "arnel's" pitcher...
So I glued it back together and as you say...got over it.
Now I know what to do with it... Thanks!

Can't wait to see the other projects.
This one was easy-peasy... I know you're gonna WOW! US... Pat

  33. @danielle
Danielle -- I found that lamp at a local antique store. It was one of a pair and only cost me $10 each. The metal was sort of shabby so I took them apart and gave them a light coat of spray paint. I'm glad you like them, too -- they are my favorite lamps ever!
