My Vintage Camper

This is my "before" -- a camper I received (begged for, really)
for Mother's Day.

It has only two redeeming qualities...
it was almost free and it doesn't smell.

It has endless possibilities, though.  Here are just a few...

If you enjoyed this post (and, gosh, I hope you did) please BECOME A FOLLOWER!

  3. Oh, my, you have quite a project ahead of you! I also have one, a 1977 motor home that looks to be in the exact same condition as yours, lol! I have been asking my boyfriend (its actually his) to let me loose on the inside of it. We just need to move it to my house now :-) I totally love your inspiration photos. I really hope that you blog about your progress because I am now following to see how this turns out.

Have awnings on the windows. Inside, I painting murals on the walls and ceiling. with clouds, a cat walking across the door jam, a shelf with a litle more etc on it. a 4 piece place setting for the table. and made new curtains etc. we have slumber parties out there..and watch dvd's and pop popcorn with m&m's in them...it is a fun time. I do need to repaint the outside now, as I have had this for several years now...but we have had fun. you will too!.. monna from Indiana

  95. My favorite is the Aqua Shasta with the yellow accents, looks very period perfect.
If you have (or want to keep) a man in your trailer life I would avoid the floral and strip orangey concoction. That would be a hit on the women's only camper expeditions.

Looks like a lot of work but a labor of love.
