I am so excited to be part of a very unique blog hop.

and
MeganDVD @ Beauty in the Attempt
are hosting
“The Bold and the Beautiful-your blog reviewed”.

There's a great GIVEAWAY, too.
One lucky winner will receive a premade blog design of their very own, that will be customized by one of the great ladies, over at

So, here's what I'd love for you to do.

Please, please, please take a look around my blog, check out the layout, pages, buttons,  sidebar and gadgets. I would love for you to gently critique my blog. I’m hoping you will leave me some positive feedback about my blog. It would be great if you could give me constructive criticism but be sure to tell me what you like about my blog too! Do you like my pictures? Does my blog load quickly for you? How about the font?  All tips and tidbits welcome!

You are welcome to join the party, it starts Thursday night and is open for a week.

If you enjoyed this post (and, gosh, I hope you did) please BECOME A FOLLOWER!

  1. Hi Lindy,

I like the colors of your blog. It's nice and clean and easy to read. A couple of suggestions. 1. Put your archives higher up the page - maybe after the featured projects.
    2. Put the About You higher up and near the ways to connect with you.
    3. Make your Page Tabs across the top bigger. It's hard to tell they are tabs.
    4. I love your features and I know how much work it is to get them on the sidebar. They may be better on their own page.

Your pictures are great. Your font is easy to read and clear. Plus, you've got some great projects.

  2. Lindy, I think your blog is great. I like the layout and all of your links. Do you link to all those parties every time you do a project? That's like a full time job! :) I don't have anything much to add to what Suesan said. I think her suggestions are great.

  5. Hello Lindy: your blog is fine just the way it is! I like it that it is not cluttered and blinky and that you put your popular protects in your sidebar - I think if you are visiting for the first time, you want to see what the style is right away and you've nailed it.

  8. Like mary poppins, practically perfect in every way. Your blog numbers have exploded girl! I remember you when you were just a pup! :) I bet I can't even find my face over there -->
I highly recommend that you have your links open in a new window. You want to keep your traffic on your page, not have them trying to find you with their back button. Write me if you want the how to's.
I put up a great post today, did you see it?
great job on your blog girl, good luck in the contest!

  9. I think everything looks fantastic. It loads quickly and the pictures are large and clear. You must be doing something right because you followers have certainly expanded! Keep up the good work! Oh, I agree with Gail on the link opening in a new window. Very easy to do.

  10. WOW! Your blog is fantastic! I have read through it before! Looks to me like you are on the right track and have some amazing things to share. Where do you get the time?? One comment would be to make your buttons a bit more noticeable! I hope you can stop by and leave some comments for me!

  11. Thank you my dear for linking up! I am thrilled beyond belief that you have joined our little blog hop. I adore your blog. I love the header. You little blog is so divine and friendly...oh I just want to meet you in person. :) I saw you had a link in your navi bar for the parties...I would be all about moving them from the sidebar to the link...just to free up the side bar. :)
Once again these are just gentle thoughts. I know that taking a risk and putting yourself out there is very scary, but you should feel so proud and empowered. I hope that you are not a no-reply when dealing with comments. I always love being able to respond to my bloggers. Also...if you need anything, Gail and I would love to help. Just let us know what we can do. :)

Have a great start to the week, and I hope this is the beginning of seeing more of you in the little blog world. :)

    Cheers~

  13. This is such a great idea! I think you've gotten great feedback. I'm late to comment here, but just have two small things to add. I love your header- the colors and the design. Have you considered left justifying the text of your posts for easier reading instead of centering them?
I love coming to your blog- you have great content. Thanks for working so hard to share your projects and your style with us!

  14. Love, love, love the header. And the font. Is it possible to use the "Cottage Hill" font for your Sidebar titles? I want to see more red scattered throughout the page. Secondly, I'm laughing just a bit that you even felt the need to do this. You have so many followers already. Love your photos on the side bar. Totally get's me interested in clicking to see what you do. Would like to see a search bar though. Once I'm hooked on a blog, I want to be able to look around for things I'm interested in.
